Rachel Schmidt

Athletic Therapist, CAT(C), BAET

Growing up, Rachel played a wide variety of sports – basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, horse back riding, and Aikido to name a few. She has always been fascinated with how the human body moves and how all the parts of the body work together to allow that to happen.

Moving your body through space with confidence and helping you know you have the capacity to do what you would love throughout your day is a goal Rachel strives to help you meet. Whether you are working to prevent injury or recovery afterwards, Rachel is there to help and support you. She continuously strives to learn more, so that she might be able to better serve and educate her clients when they come to see her.

Rachel has experience teaching a wide variety of classes from HIIT and TRX to senior balance and brings this experience with her to inform accurate exercise prescription as you pursue your goals. Rachel has worked with a diverse clientele ranging from wheel chair athletes, high level hockey players, people who have been in motor vehicle accidents, and anyone who just needs extra support getting back to doing the things they love.

With a holistic approach, she creates personalized treatment plans, focusing on active rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques. Educating is an important aspect of her program that allows her clients to feel comfortable with their recovery process both during sessions and at home.
